Yes. In voice-activated mode it sits in standby drawing almost no power, then starts recording the moment it hears sound within about 50 feet. When the room falls quiet it stops again, so you come back to the audio that mattered instead of hours of silence. You can also leave it in continuous mode if you would rather it record everything.

Plug it in with the included Type-C / Micro-USB adapter. It shows up as an ordinary USB drive on Windows and macOS, and you drag the WAV files straight off. No software to install, no account to create. You can also listen back on the device itself using the earbud in the box.

Around 50 hours of continuous recording and roughly 30 hours of playback from the 200mAh lithium battery. Left in standby it holds charge for up to 180 days. Storage is 32GB built in — about 376 hours of audio in WAV at 48KHz. No memory card needed, and it charges over the same USB connection you use to move files.

Delivery is free to every UK address, with no minimum spend. Orders are processed in 0 to 1 working days, and anything placed before 3:00 pm GMT is dispatched the same working day. Transit is then 3 to 5 working days with Royal Mail on a tracked service, Monday to Friday. We ship within the UK only.

You will get a dispatch email with a tracking number and link as soon as your parcel leaves us, and you can check progress any time on our Track Your Order page. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to show its first scan, so a blank page on the evening of dispatch is normal. If tracking has not moved for 5 working days, or nothing has arrived within 10 working days of dispatch, email us with your order number and we will chase the carrier and either resend or refund.

Yes, and returns are free. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. Email us with your order number and we will send you a prepaid return label to download and print — there is nothing to pay and no restocking fee, whether the item arrived faulty or you have simply changed your mind.

You can open the box and try it. We accept new and lightly used items, so switching the recorder on does not void your return — we only ask that it comes back complete, with the earbud, adapter and manual, in its original packaging. Refunds are issued within 7 days of your return reaching us, back to the original payment method.

Recording a conversation you are part of is lawful in the UK for your own personal use — lectures, meetings, interviews, your own notes. Recording other people covertly, or sharing a recording with someone else, brings obligations under UK GDPR and can carry legal consequences. We are not able to give legal advice, so if your situation is a sensitive one, take proper advice before you record.
