The mini recorder market has a problem. Dozens of near-identical devices, listed under keyword-stuffed titles, with specifications copied and pasted between sellers and nobody willing to answer a question about any of them. Buying one is a gamble.

So we did the opposite. We picked a single unit, learned it properly and stocked it. We can tell you how long the battery actually lasts, how to get the files onto a laptop, and what it will and will not pick up across a room. That is a hard promise to make across a catalogue of fifty products, so we do not try.

Our customers are students capturing lectures, journalists running interviews, and people who sit in enough meetings that listening beats note-taking. What they have in common is a need to remember something accurately later.

We ask them to record lawfully and considerately. In the UK, recording a conversation you are part of is lawful for your own personal use. Recording other people covertly, or passing a recording on, carries obligations under UK GDPR and can carry consequences. We would rather say that plainly on our own website than let someone find out afterwards.
